How long do I have to order before collecting the cake?
Best to give us 1 to 2 days notice. But you can also check on our website to see what we currently have at the outlet nearest to you for same day delivery or pick up.
What is the best way to eat and enjoy your cheesecake?
Best eaten Frozen-ish!
From Freezer: Allow approximately 15 to 25 minutes thawing time (6 inch and 8 inch cakes) and then cutting the desired portion using a knife that has been dipped in hot water. We recommend cutting into cubes, this stops the edges from melting quickly and it is easier to eat in bite sizes! To those who like it creamier, just let it thaw longer.
Mini Monkeys of course defrost much faster then since they are much smaller. Best eaten within 5 minutes 🙂

What is the size of your cheesecake and how many do your cheesecake serve?
8-inch round (diameter) cheesecakes are approximately 1kg and can serve 8-12 standard slices.
6-inch round (diameter) approximately 1/2kg and can serve 2-6 people. Mini Monkeys are the little cupcake size ones at 2.5 inch (around 90g to 130g) each.
We also have 10 inch (1.5 kg) and 12 inch (3 kg) cake size available for pre-order with 2 days notice

Do you do writings on your cake?
We’re sorry we absolutely do not do writings on any of our cakes but we do have the option for a personalised handwritten card service* for you to add on.
*Only English and Bahasa Melayu (Sorry we cant write in Chinese). *Limit number of words for message to 100 words and below only.

Do you include knife, birthday tag, candles?
Knife will not be provided as you will need a metal knife to cut the cake however we provide a Birthday Tag and a candle.
Are your cakes vegetarian friendly
They are all egg free!

How do I pay for the cakes?
Most of our outlets accept cash, credit card, ewallet and bank transfer.
Do you do delivery?
Yes, we engage several delivery companies to deliver our cakes in KL and Selangor. You can check the delivery fees from our website when you key in your delivery address.
The delivery service timezone will depend on your selected time zones, traffic and weather condition. If you really need the cake at a specific time then we strongly suggest you opt for an earlier delivery date or time. Plus its perfectly fine to receive the cake a day or two earlier from your desired celebration day. The cake keeps well in the freezer.
Depending on your location you can also find us on GrabFood, Food Panda and ShoppeeFood.

I would like to order the cakes as a gift or surprise.
If the order is meant to be a gift, please ensure that the receiver is reachable by WhatsApp OR Call so that the delivery company is able to communicate with him or her. If its a surprise gift, please inform us and ensure that you, the sender is reachable by WhatsApp or Call, and that you’ve already checked that the receiver will be there at the requested delivery time.
If receiver is not there or unreachable upon requested delivery time window, a return and re-delivery fee will be charged.

Can I make changes to my order?
Yes, within 48 hours of your collection/delivery time. Please call and Whatsapp us and please include details of your order.

What are your change and return policy?
Sometimes boo-boos do happen. For any issues related to damaged product or wrong product or delivery, please contact us at order@purplemonkey.com.my or call +60-17-260 4781 within 48 hours. Please highlight the following details in your email:

What is the best way to store your cheesecakes?
In the Freezer (where you keep ice cream and ice) Fridge: Ok only for the big cakes 6 inch, 8 inch (covered) up till 3 to 4 hours
I want to take Purple Monkey bloody delicious cheesecakes to my hometown outside KL! Is it possible?
Yes it is possible. We can pack it nicely in a way that it will stay frozen and intact. When you order, just let us know your travel mode and duration if your journey takes more than 1 hour. We also recommend that you transport it with a chiller bag or cooler box. You can also get a chiller bag from us.
Don’t worry, our cheesecakes have made it well to various parts of Malaysia like Kuantan, Ipoh, Penang, Melaka and even overseas to Singapore and Bangkok!

Do you provide dry ice?
Sorry we do not provide dry ice. However, we do include ice packs in our cake boxes.
